'Roadside Mailbox 602'
Featuring quirky and quintessential country Australian roadside mailboxes, painted in the artist's unique style. The long lonely horizon line adds a profound sense of space to the work, and the rich green palette really helps make the work pop when displayed.
This beautiful abstract landscape magically captures a shimmering frosty farmhouse on a cold country morning. Farmhouses, paddocks and waterholes feature heavily in the artist's work and speak to her country upbringing.
This work holds a special place in the artist's career as it was inspired by her expedition through central Australia and the original artwork featured in the 'emily:explorer' national touring exhibition. Her wildflowers work has gone onto be one of the artist most popular. Featuring intricate detail, it is alive with energy and its earthy colour palette suits many contemporary decors.
